Liner notes

City Nights aired on Tuesday, April 20, 2021. It’s an album of 11 tracks running 30 min, and it’s episode 15 of 36 overall, episode 1 of Season 2021.

It came out 259 days after the previous episode, Above the Clouds. That’s the longest wait between any two episodes in the series.

It opens with “Crescent Moon” and closes with “Dancing Shadows”. The longest track is “Dark Corners” (3:30) and the shortest is “Streetlights” (2:19).

It begins the City Nights series, which continues in City Nights 2 and City Nights 3.

Like nearly all Purrple Cat music, it’s instrumental.

On the cover: cat silhouette on a rooftop under a crescent moon, string lights on the next roof, lit window with blinds; deep blue sky with pink clouds, flatter older style.

The quote under the title is the tagline from the official full-album video.
